Sound the trumpets! Rejoice! Do the happy dance because today is National Fast Food Day! Alright, so your doctor may not be happy about but I’m bettin’ dollars for doughnuts, that guy indulges in a Whopper every now and then!

According to National Calendar, fast food became popular in the 1950’s, when cars and convenience went hand and hand.  Here’s a fun fact for ya,  the term “Fast food” was recognized by the Merriam-Webster dictionary in 1951.

This got me thinking about some of my fav fast food joints. Taco Bell, In n Out, McDonald’s (OMG those fries!!), and Burger King! In that order!

I TRY not to eat like that a lot BUT let’s face it, its so dang good. What’s your all time, gotta have it fast food place?
