Look out California! I have a new car and I’m out looking for offenders of my pet peeve…drivers who poke along in the fast lane. I’m just kidding of course. Although I would do it in a heartbeat if CHP would let me borrow a cruiser. As I posed for this photo, I couldn’t help but hum Junior Brown’s song “Highway Patrol.” As Junior masterfully played his signature guit-steel double neck guitar, he sang “I‘ve got a star on my car and one on my chest. A gun on my hip and the right to arrest. I’m just doing my job, I’m the Highway Patrol.” (BTW, in case you didn’t know, if you’re driving in the far left lane on the highway and another car comes up behind you, you’re supposed to move over to let them pass. This is the law in most states. If you’re not passing or going any faster than the car in the lane to your right, you should be in that lane. In other words, slower traffic keep right.) So what sets you off when you’re out in traffic? Post your traffic pet peeves on our Facebook page and maybe I can do something about them when I get my cruiser.
