How did it go?

I have been set up on blind dates in the past, but it has been a reeeeeeally long time since I have been set up. Like a decade or more. So when a dear friend of my family (she is like an aunt to me) text me that she had a friend she thought would be perfect for me, I was terrified.

The one thing I actually like about virtual or online dating (it should be said, I don’t really date much) is that you can exchange pictures and really put it all out on the table. With “blind dates” there is a sense of insecurity. I kinda feel like, super self conscious now. What if he meets me and hates the way I look? What if he doesn’t like me? Even worse, what if he is weird? What if he is jerk? Or embarrassing, or chews with his mouth open?

Have you ever been set up on a blind date? How did it go? Any funny stories to make me feel better?
