I went and saw a movie this weekend in Lodi and its a really nice theater that serves alcohol and really yummy snacks. But…..

That being said, I’m a single girl on a budget and I could NOT see throwing down an entire paycheck for soft pretzels, popcorn, and a glass of wine! Soooo, I did what any baller on a budget would do…I stopped at Raley’s and did a little “pre-gaming” for my evening of entertainment.

I picked up some grapes, a Coke (WITH a straw, thank you very much!) and a fresh, warm, crusty loaf of french baguette WITH little butter packets from the deli!

It all cost me about $7 bucks and I was perfectly satisfied during my movie. Now, you KNOW that if I had bought food at the movie I would have paid about $20 bucks, AT LEAST!

So, as I was sitting in the theater laughing quietly to myself mostly because it was funny, I also had to chuckle at my level of sneakiness just to save a few bucks. Also, the movie wasn’t that great…just sayin.
