I saw this on Twitter this morning and was immediately struck by my feelings on this whole subject. Like truly passionate and infuriated! When I got in my car and really thought about it, it all makes perfect sense. Think for a minute back to some of your fav movies and find the small details that really annoyed you. I’m not talking “movie mistakes” (we will do that in another post!!) I’m talking small details like shoes on the bed, or not saying goodbye when they hang up the phone.

For me, it is when someone makes a HUGE spread for breakfast and everyone rushes out the door without even touching the dang food!! I mean, what is life!? First of all, who has time to do that? Secondly, the sun is always UP and we know darn well no body gets up when the sun is up. Lastly, who makes a huge spread of pancakes, eggs, bacon etc ON.A.WEEKDAY anymore?!?!?! Not happening! I was lucky if my mom threw me a half eaten banana some mornings as we rushed out the door. (SIDE NOTE: My mom is a GREAT mom and one of the BEST cooks in the universe, but she was a busy working mom too for goodness sake!)
