…for THESE little piggies.

Yes, seems back in April, firefighters in Wiltshire, England, heroically rescued 18 little PIGLETS from a fire in a barn.  And the owner of the farm was so grateful, the he wanted to do something special to thank them.

Yep, so he COOKED UP the pigs they rescued…made them into SAUSAGES…and served them to the firefighters!

Of course PETA  got word of the story, and spoke out against the fire department and farmer.  And the firefighters have, now, apologized for eating the pigs…and also for calling the sausages, quote, “fantastic” on social media.

[Editor’s note: Of course, none of the firefighters could bring themselves to eat all their sausages. Nope, says one: “Adorable little piglets like that, you shouldn’t eat…….all at once”.]
