Full disclosure: I took the above image from far away on purpose so the details would be clear as mud. While I don’t think these things should be illegal I am uncomfortable with signs like the one above advertising a cannibis festival out in public. Recreational marijuana is now legal in the state of California. Fine but can’t we regulate how they advertise to keep our streets from looking trashy? To be fair it was on Arch Airport Road just east of 99 in Stockton next to the other yard sale signs so I guess it was in it’s element but I’m not sure we need this advertised. The fans of recreational pot will find these things without embedding them into our culture and advertising them to kids. You’re now allowed to have your little shop or festival. Great, shouldn’t that be enough?
