High-Flyin’ Clothes Dryin’

Drying your delicates at 30,000 feet…

Yes, we look now to the skies above Russia, where an unnamed woman was flying to Moscow this week–on a Ural Airlines flight–from the resort city of Antalya, in southern Turkey.  And eyewitnesses say she did not seem even remotely embarrassed, as she spent at least 20 minutes drying her underwear under the overhead air vent!

Yep, and an onlooker with a smartphone filmed the surreal scene as she held her panties above her head, and moved them around in the airflow, to dry them.

Other passengers were apparently too shocked to comment on the woman’s unusual–and very open–laundry technique, with one saying: “Everybody was looking with interest and confusion, but everyone remained silent.”

And says another passenger: “Maybe the takeoff was sort of extreme, so she had to dry them.”

[Editor’s note: And many people felt kind of sorry for her, too.  But what, you ask, just what can be done to help someone who always “wets themselves” during take-offs?  (Well, depends….)]
