Seems ROVER.COM has just released it’s list of the most popular DOG NAMES of 2017, and the Top Ten names for female dogs are: Bella, Lucy, Daisy, Luna, Lola, Sadie, Molly, Maggie, Bailey, and Sophie.

Meantime, the ten most popular names for male dogs are: Max, Charlie, Cooper, Buddy, Jack, Rocky, Oliver, Bear, Duke, and Tucker.

The study also found that 53% of people say their dog’s name was inspired by something in pop culture, including characters from movies, TV shows, and books…or celebrities.

[Editor’s note:  Just to mess with his mind, I named my dog “Stay”.  And it was fun to call him: “Come Stay! Stay, come! Stay? Stay? Come! Stay!   Good dog.”]
