With a lot of our elderly Veterans on a Fixed income, and Food Benefits still in Limbo, here’s another way to put food on the table…
Restaurants nationwide are honoring Veterans and active-duty military members with free meals, discounts, and special offers. Most deals require proof of service (military ID or uniform), and many are dine-in only. Highlights include:
- Applebee’s: Free full-sized entrée from a Veterans Day Menu plus a $5 Bounce Back Card.
- BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie; later, free appetizer bounce-back with entrée purchase.
- Blaze Pizza: Free one-topping pizza.
- California Pizza Kitchen: Free entrée and beverage from prix fixe menu plus BOGO coupon for future visit.
- Chili’s: Free entrée from a special menu.
- Chipotle: Buy one entrée, get one free (4–8 p.m.).
- Denny’s: Free Original Grand Slam (5 a.m.–noon).
- Farmer Boys: $4 Big Cheese burger with proof of service through the app
- Golden Corral: Free dine-in buffet with beverage for veterans and all military branches
- IHOP: Free Red, White & Blueberry Pancake Combo for veterans and active-duty dine-in only with proof of service.
- In-N-Out Burger: Free burger, fries, and drink.
- Little Caesars: Free lunch combo (11 a.m.–2 p.m.).
- Red Lobster: Free Shrimp & Chips entrée.
- Wendy’s: Free breakfast combo during breakfast hours.
- Sizzler: Free lunch (preselected choices) until 4 p.m
- Starbucks: Free tall (12 oz) hot or iced brewed coffee.
Other chains like , Dave & Buster’s, Firehouse Subs, Freddy’s, and Wienerschnitzel also have similar offers. Some include extra perks like game cards or bounce-back coupons. Most deals are valid only on Nov. 11, though a few extend discounts or rewards through late November or December.
