I love to see all the fantastic things people choose to grace the top of their Christmas trees.  Ours is a little unique…it’s a Sri Lankan Peacock Devil Dance Mask.

We were living abroad – and were so excited to find Christmas stuff – we got ourselves a little tree – some twinkle lights and baubles….but forgot to get a topper. So we popped one of the souvenirs from our travels up there.

I know “Sri Lankan Peacock Devil Dance Mask” doesn’t sound very Christmasy…but it is. The Peacock mask is supposed to bring peace and harmony to the home – and wards off evil spirits and ghosts.

So it’s makes perfect sense…kind of.

So what do you have on the top of your tree? A classic star? An Angel? Or A demon Mask from a foreign land?
