Suns out….toes out?

I’m sorry I had to show you this horror, that is my feet. It’s for science…

I have to preface this blog by saying I would not categorize myself as  a “foot person”. I’m not a huge fan, BUT I don’t cringe if toes are present in the room.

I should also say that I HATE my feet. They are crooked (we lovingly call my toes the Von Trapp family…google it…..you’ll get it hahahaha), and my toes look like little sausages! In fact, my dad calls my toes sausage toes. They are flat on the bottom and high at the top (its a chore to buy shoes lemme tell ya), and my toe nails are teeny tiny. My dad also calls my toe nails “toe dots”. He’s just full of gems!

That being said, I do find myself looking at feet, not because of some weird fetish (its fine if you do…you do you boo!), but mostly I’m checking out if they look fit for public consumption. Before you judge me, admit to yourself that if you see some gnarly toes, you are grossed out just a little bit. Ok….let’s move on.

I love Summer. I like Summer dresses, sandals, tan skin (fake tan but a tan none the less), bbq’s, and hanging out at my parent’s pool. So,because of the season, I notice a lot of the women at work wear a variety of open toed shoes to the office. So far, no issues with yucky toes to distract me, BUT it got me thinking, should open toes be banned at work? Should we be subjected to funky toes?

Let me know
