I guess it’s for beer lovers with too much money.

Yes, seems the folks at Samuel Adams are making a special craft beer, now, called “Utopias”. And it’s 56 PROOF–which makes it just about as potent as a lot of hard liquors–and it’s going to cost you $199 bucks a bottle.

It may just make you feel like an OUTLAW, too, because with that high alcohol content, it’s ILLEGAL in 12 states–including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont and Washington.

And while it should go on sale in the other 38 states next month, it may be pretty tough to find…they’re only making 13,000 total bottles, so you may have to call around to find places that are carrying it.

Just ask for “Utopias” from Samuel Adams…56 proof, and 200 bucks a bottle.

[Editor’s note:  I think I’ll just spend my $200 on 200 cans of King Cobra.  It’ll last a lot longer…and I “won’t let the smooth taste fool me”.]
