My niece is getting married this spring – she’s waaaay into horses. She has a horse and

shows it. She also does dressage…well, she wants her horse…at the wedding!

She said there are a lot of people that have their pets in their weddings. She claims to have been to several weddings where people have brought their dogs.  Her mother is not keen.  She think it’s a bad idea.  There are so many moving parts to a wedding and now you want to add an animal to the mix?

• Someone will have to watch their pet
• they need food and water
• they have to go to the bathroom
• they’re in a strange environment – with tons of people they don’t know.   

It’s a recipe for disaster.

Don’t get me wrong – I’m a HUGE animal lover….but I’m with my sister here.  Having an animal at a wedding sounds like a huge pain. It’s much cooler in theory.
