I had a HUGE blunder with my FAV celeb!

Picture this; Sacramento Memorial Auditorium maybe 10 years ago. My friend Diane took me to see Dolly Parton and I LOST MY MIND!!!!  If you don’t know, I am a huge fan and Dolly is my all time favorite celebrity. I just think she is the best. Fight me.

I got to see Dolly in all her glory on stage playing those acrylic nails like the dang pro she is!!

But wait…….we get to meet her too! Now, it should be said, I have been a DJ for a very long time. Meeting celebrities is really not a huge deal to people in my industry because it happens so often for us. To us, these are just people with cool jobs. So……..that being said, in front of God and everyone I SOBBED LIKE A BABY….and…wait for it…..asked her to be my mom. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Friend, I was a full grown woman! What in the world did I say that for?!?!?!

She laughed and gave me the biggest hug and my embarrassment quickly faded away when she played a little song on her nails just for me. (oh and told me to stop “ugly cryin” because I was ruining my make up)

I CANNOT be the only one who failed so hard when meeting their fav celeb….so please tell me the silliest thing you ever said to someone famous!
