When you put on a shirt, do you button from the bottom UP…or the top DOWN?

I’ve always started from the bottom and worked my way up. I’m guessing it’s because that’s what I was taught when I was a child.

I was blown away recently to learn that at least one person I know buttons their shirt from the top down. Apparently a friend of ours has been doing it WRONG all of her life – because everyone knows:

YOU BUTTON A SHIRT FROM THE BOTTOM UP!

If you start at the top an work down – it’s your prerogative…you are bat-$#!% crazy – but it is your prerogative.

How do you button your shirt? From the top down…or do you do it the correct way – from the bottom up?
