I think comedian Bill Engvall hit the nail on the head when he said, “Stupid people should have to wear a sign that says, “I’m stupid”.  I saw a woman that

definitely needed one.

While she was pumping gas today across from me, I watched her light up a cigarette! Yes ~ she was smoking while pumping gas!

Now I’m no scientist – but I’m pretty sure gas is flammable…and large quantities of it can be explosive. I contemplated confront her.  I felt someone should let her know that her cigarette could cause a massive explosion.

But I decided against it.  Because any woman willing to smoke at a gas pump – wouldn’t give a second thought about swinging on me. So I hightailed it outta there so I didn’t go up in flames if she dropped an ash.

It’s not the first time I’ve seen ridiculousness take place while refueling.  I once saw a guy doing push-ups while he waited for the car to fill up.

What is it about the gas station?  Are these folks inhaling too many fumes?  I feel these folks should (at the least) have their licenses revoked.
